Wellness Hub
What to Expect
Tabbi Eats originally began with the simple premiss to help private clients with their nutritional needs. This is in fact still happening but it has also progressed to a wellness hub. In the Tabbi Eats studio, we now hold nutrition focused cooking classes, candle painting classes and yoga. Our wellness hub has three elements at its core, nutrition, mindfulness and movement.
❋ NutritionOur nutrition practice is evidence based and we offer one to one consultations. We create a plan that is suited to your life style and goals. Our services page has more information.
We also offer nutrition focused cooking classes, in an intimate setting, they take place once a month. Bespoke cooking classes can also be created for private groups.
❋ Mindfulness Doing any thing creative automatically quietens the mind. In a world where the mental load can be crippling, doing something for a few hours that is just creative is essential. Our candle painting classes are intuitive, filled with learning and laughter. Everything you would need for the class is provided.
❋ Movement Led by our experienced yoga teacher Emma from In To the Fold, all our movement sessions are created expertly by her. Our sessions are then either followed by a brunch or a deeply comforting hot drink.
Dr Mahtab Chenevix-Trench - Founder
Raised in London with Persian roots, I have been a scientist, worked within the Pharmaceutical world and now a Nutritional Specialist. My loves are science, food and travel.
Before my love of food and nutrition took over, my background was in science. I have degrees in Biomedical Sciences and a PhD in Developmental Genetics from King’s College London.
My love for food and initial tutorship in cooking occurred in my Grandma's incredibly cosy kitchen, filled with herbs and spices. Where the three of us (my grandma, mum and I) would cook shoulder-to-shoulder. I have also studied at the Leith Cooking School in London, completing their Nutrition in Practice course and received an Advanced Diploma from Future Fit to formalise my marriage of science and food.
I live in SW London with my well-trained labradoodle Rollo, my less well-trained husband, and my son, who is in training.
